GPGNet, unable to update. *sigh*

Well I looked around really hard, I tried re-installing and etc.

I tried to execute the patch.exe, but when I click "Okay" it has an error saying "Invalid Patch File "C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\GPGNet\patch.exe"

Any help will be largely appreciated. Because I really like this game and I can't wait to play online.|||I had the same error. From what I gather, the version of GPGNet I had (we had?) was so old (I was running 1.5.37 or something; current is 1.5.225) that the patch could not properly, well, patch.

You can download the latest version of GPGNet here:

http://thevault.gaspowered.com/gpgnetdownload/GPGnetSetup.1.5.225.zip

You'll want to uninstall your current version (using either the Windows uninstall applications program or one of your choice) before running it. The version above works well for me; it's the first time in years I've been able to get on GPGNet.|||Same problem. I cant believe this. How hard is it to keep this working for people ?
When you download the game from direct2drive, it comes with a version of gpgnet that just doesnt work. It does not update itself. I finally got it working after I found a download here on the forums...
I remember at one point in time I had a great deal of respect for gaspowered as a developer ....|||D2D is a different company that does not use up to date versions like the GPGnet of the cd it is out of date you it will auto update if you are a ADMIN on the pc when you run GPGnet|||reddev32|||Ok try do the following.
Uninstall Gpgnet that you have and delete the installation folder eg ~ D:\Gas Powered Games\GPGnet
Then download http://reddev32.supcom2.co.uk/Supcom/Latest%20Updates/GPGnetSetup.1.5.225.zip once that is downloaded run the setup.exe this will install the j+ package that the latest Gpgnet uses|||reddev32
