cannot play with two separate accounts from same house

Hi there. I had bought Supreme Commander: Gold Ed. a while back and have played on GPGnet for a while. My brother recently purchased his own copy of Supreme Commander: FA with the thought that we could play online together.

However, even though we have two separate accounts, we are unable to play simultaneously from our apartment. He can play just fine as long as I am not logged into the GPGnet client, and vise versa. The second I try to join a custom game he is in (in which he has a good connection), both of our connections will drop and it will say 'host timed out' or something.

Also, if one of us hosts a custom game, the other can join with no problem. However, every time another person outside tries to join it says they 'time out'. So, has this problem ever been encountered before? I find it strange that we can't play together just because we are sharing the same internet connection...|||2 people behind 1 router: http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?t=2592|||Legion Darrath|||Legion Darrath|||It isn't a bug at all, do you have any idea how a network works?|||Yeah, that's not a bug, that is how it is supposed to work.|||well, ok :/ I just never had a problem like this before..

Ok, got it fixed. For a while there it still wasn't working b/c it seems I need both TCP and UDP forwarded. :X|||r0n_hawkins
