SC2 Bug Report: UEF Long Range Artillery

[:1]This was a fun one, originally I thought it was just a problem with the AI using this unit, then I figured out it was humans too, which led me to the answer.
So the UEF Long Range Artillery works fine until you research the Range upgrade, +40%.
The problem is that it can't actually shoot beyond its original range, maybe a little bit further like 5%.
Most maps aren't large enough to notice the problem, I've been using Seton's to play with this, no idea which other maps are large enough.
The red range circle's radius does increase as it should, indicating the unit is indeed receiving the researched range upgrade. When you try to target something that is beyond the default range however, the unit will not fire, or even attempt to, though it does show that it is targeting what it was told to.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem is one of physics. It needs more "gunpowder" to shoot at the range allowed by the research upgrade.
This is confirmed by reducing the gravity. It only needs a slight reduction in gravity to allow it to shoot at its actual maximum range. This rules out that it is some other bug.
I think it started recently with a fix to prevent mobile artillery from shooting things that move out of their range.
Increasing the projectiles velocity should fix it, though that may make it more powerful for closer range attacks?|||I had noticed that they wouldn't fire to their maximum range (way back on the second patch or so), but that's an interesting reason, not that one I would have thought.|||Machater
