GPGNet Wont run

My installation of GPGnet wont run. It gets to the splash screen and becomes unresponsive. If i take the focus away from the splash screen then click on the splash screen again to return focus i get a waiting symbol on my mouse then windows tells me that the program is un-responsive and would i like to close the program.
I have re-installed the program 3 times, i have also installed the visual J# package twice with no success before re-installing GPGnet. I also noticed in control panel that the version number is 1.0.0 which is wrong so i re-downloded the installer to make sure that wasn't corrupt but the new installer resulted in the previous errors.
I have the most up to date Flash player and IE.
Also i would like to know if it works with IE9(as that is what i have installed) and are there any known programs that cause errors with GPGnet.

|||Thanks for that, but i tried the different download location, and uninstalled and re-installed, but it still didn't work even running in compatibility mode and as administrator. I still get the same error on start-up. Windows is still registering the version as 1.0.0 aswell.|||It will always show up as v1.0.0 what os are u running.
Have u done a full unistall of gpgnet including the left over files?

GPG never updated the Windows properties version number. The real version number is displayed on the splash screen. Did you install all of the prerequisites like the J# library?|||ok, yes i have installed gpgnet 1.5.225, with all the options enabled to do with the newest version|||I think i made it unclear in my last post, i have installed all the pre-requisites for GPGnet but it still crashes on startup, it freezes at the splash screen, another piece of information is that while in the splash screen, it constantly uses 25% of the CPU but never does anything(i just get the loading mouse)|||how do you mean still crashes on startup do you get a message?

[/quote]|||Yes ive tried that, and also tried it using every option in the compatibility mode, and running as admin each time, each time results in the same effect.|||hum unistall and delete all files with gpgnet and reinstall it maybe that might fix it
