FA black screen issue

I just installed FA on my laptop, and now when i start it up i get a black screen. i use ctrl alt delete to get out of it and see a fatal error message similar to the ones other people have gotten with this problem. tryed /novalidate, tryed a reinstall, tryed new drivers for gpu but no luck, same error. it was working previously on my xp laptop. this new one is vista though



specs:

2.1ghz Intel Core2 Duo

4gb of DDRII ram

250gig HDD

Nvidia GT 220m 512MB

vista 32bit|||don't install it on your laptop it will gave u problems|||reddev32|||well i did get the newest graphics card driver, and i installed dx9.c again.
