GPGNet crash with player profiles

In the past few days, GPGNet is constantly crashing when I attempt to view the profiles of high-ranking players like Gitzi and _Hells_Reaper_, now called _-Omega-_, shortly after I log in. This happens it seems to anyone in the top 100, because I can view my own profile just fine at all times, but the top players' profiles cause a crash. I believe this may be due to the awards that they have, but I cannot be certain why this may be causing problems. Waiting for a while seems to alleviate this issue, but I would still like some sort of explanation for why this happens, as it did not happen before.
