Help with gpgnet

I need help with the installation of gpgnet. i know how to install it and all but there is an error the says "the isntaller has encountered an unexepected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2869" and the download bar just goes back.
I don't know if its becuase I have changed pc i just bought and uninstalled it on the old one and tried o the new one but this comes up. Please help.
Ps: i downloaded the gpgnet setup from the forum but still says the same.|||First thing I'd suggest is to update Windows, and the Windows/MSI installers. Some times (not saying that it's actually the case here) an installation will fail because the installer is out of date.|||thanks i'll try it, still open to other solutions though|||tried it didn't work |||You need only to install GPGnet on a another path.Not in the C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games folder,it's a bug if you reinstalled it.
Just a another path.Like C:\Program Files\NewGPGnet\
For example.
Then install the latest versions of GPGnet/Supreme COmmander /Forget Alliance if you have all.
Latest patches:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=52357
And be sure you run GPGnet as admin and in XP service pack 3 compatibility mode.
(Right click on the GPGnet icon ~>properties~>compatibility And put a hook to the WinXp (sp3) mode and to the "run it as admin".
