So my game crashes when I try to join a server with pre-ordered maps or when host switch to a pre-ordered map.
I verified the files with steam and there doesn't seem to be any problem...
I have Windows 7 64 bit in case it matters.|||This is a bug we are tracking. The current workaround is not to use the Steam Join friend interface to join the game, but instead use the standard in-game server lists.
Unless I misunderstood your problem.

have you tried running them in the skirmish mode?|||I can't run them in skrimish mode because I haven't got any of them :)

Yes but it also crashes when I'm already In-Game and the host changes to a pre-ordered map.
I think that means this has nothing to do with joining a friend with steam but I'll test using the standard game-list
