[FA]refuses to launch

[:1]I've trolled all of the topics i can over the last couple of days and have no real answer to my problem. after re-installing Forged Alliance i have had all kinds of issues.
1- basic install version says (wrong CD inserted).
to fix this i simply updated to the latest 3596 to 3599.
However, after updating to the latest patch, whenever i double click the .exe, it appears as a process in my task manager for a second, and then disappears. this happens ALL of the time.
things i have tried:
-reinstall (5 times)
-update Direct X
-ATI video card updates
-Shouting at it.
-Trawling through pages looking for that one answer whilst slowly loosing the will to live.

thanks in advance :D
*edit apologies for the dxgiag posting. i didnt know the posting "format" as such.|||First, do not post your entire DxDiag in the forums. Post it on a website called pastebin.com and then link to it here.
Second, do you have a Logitech webcam? The appearing-for-a-second problem is generally a characteristic of a Logitech webcam driver interfering with the game.
Also, can a moderator move this thread to the SupCom Tech Support forum? This forum is meant for SupCom2 help.|||after checking through my registary and program files, i have no trace of ever having a logitech webcam.|||Might an anti-virus program be blocking FA from running?|||What operating system are you running on your pc?|||i am running XP Pro SP3.
the 'mega click' fix has worked for me (clicking it fast and loads) but i would prefer a solid fix. removed all programs i dont need, so i dont have commodore or any antivirus on here. windows firewall is also off.
*uninstalled and re-installed (mega click doesnt work anymore) game is now unplayable.|||wobble have you patched the game yet if not use the following 1 below and all so update GPGnet,
