Game freeze - campaign [Fixed]

The game runs fine on all other modes(i have not played much do to just getting the game not even a day a go), but on Cut scene in the first UEF after the nukes go off, when the line about "enemy units" is said, it freezes and goes in a loop.
I can not ctrl alt del but i can alt tab if i have the task manager up a head of time.
I have search, and could not fine any thing but if i missed some thing please direct me there.
Specs:
Intel 3.0 Duo
2 GB of ram
video card: 9600 GSO with drivers 6.14.11.9713
Side note: I have tried this game on my laptop and it runs fine. And i can provide more info if needed.

direct x install version?|||Xp sp 3 and direct x 9|||ok try this delete your game.prefs and see if it still freezes

If yes i surgest you delete supcom 2 files and try reinstalling|||"are your ram speeds set currently?"
I do not know the answer the that one. But i do know that i do plan to reinstall if i can not find a way to get it to spot.|||yenma91|||reddev32|||When you go into bios and go into the ram settings it should show what the current configuration of the ram as it is.|||Sorry for 2x post but i have tried spiking the briefing and it works for a small a mount of time(less then 3 mins) and freezes on the line "you have reinforcements on the way). Just like the other spot it repeats audio and locks up on the picture so i can not do any thing.|||2048k x2

Any of that help? I couldn't find much to do with ram in my bios|||yes cheers.
does this only happen on campaign or on custom|||Only on campaign. i have played about 5 skirmish that lasted about 1- 2 hours each and used all three times and i have had no issue. And the tutorial runs fine.|||so it's just a captain issue then. HUM
i think if it is possible try to delete supcom 2 and redownload it or install form the dvd (if u have) and let it patch and see if it still happens.|||reddev32|||always here to help.
